Feasability Study – Implementation of new process on existing or new sites

Challenge

The world’s leading radiopharmaceutical company has obtained a licence in the US for a new tracer for PETscan produced by a cyclotron. In order to prepare for deployment in Europe, the company commissioned a conceptual design to compare five possible options (greenfield/revamping) on sites it owns.

Mission

In partnership with an engineering company, ILS analysed the sites under consideration and proposed plans for each option (layout, flows, utilities), a list of equipment, a global budget and a schedule. These data were used to build a comparison matrix based on financial, operational, logistical and regulatory aspects, which was presented to the client.
